For windshields on all size vehicles, a non-reflective window tint film strip is allowed on the upper 5 inches of this area. Smaller AND larger vehicles have to allow for up to 25% VLT on the front driver and passenger side windows. Both smaller and larger vehicles can have window tinting on their rear windshield that amounts to only 10% VLT.
